Terms of Use
Last updated November 3, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and NaputiLabs for using Still Telling. We've kept them as plain as we can. By using Still Telling, you agree to them.
Please know
- Still Telling is a keepsake, not a will. Nothing in it is a legal document or carries legal weight.
- It isn't a medical product, a place for passwords or account numbers, or a way to give legal or financial instructions.
1. Who we are
Still Telling (stilltelling.com) is made by NaputiLabs, based in Phoenix, Arizona, USA ("we", "us"). Contact: support@stilltelling.com.
2. Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older to buy a plan or gift. People 13 to 17 may take part with a parent or guardian's permission.
- A family member or caregiver may help a storyteller who needs it (for example, in memory care mode), with the storyteller's agreement.
3. The preview
The free preview keeps everything in your browser, on your device (see the Privacy Policy). We can't recover a preview book if browser data is cleared or a device is lost. Download a copy from Keepsake regularly. Features may change while we build.
4. Your stories are yours
- The storyteller owns what they create: words, recordings, photos and messages. A gift giver or helper doesn't own the storyteller's book and can't read anything not shared with them.
- You give us permission only to store, copy, display, transcribe, deliver and (for Heirloom) print your content, to provide Still Telling to you and the people you chose. This permission ends when you delete the content, except copies already delivered to recipients or printed.
- We never use your content to train AI, sell it, or use it for advertising.
5. What you're responsible for
- Only upload what you have the right to share, and record other people only with their permission.
- Choose recipients carefully. Once a story is delivered, the recipient may keep it.
- Keep your sign-in email or phone secure.
- Don't use Still Telling to harass, threaten or harm anyone, to share anything illegal, or to break, overload or get around its security or limits.
6. Sharing, held messages and release
- The storyteller chooses who receives each item and when: now, on a date or milestone, or after they're gone.
- We can't know on our own when someone has died. Release after passing depends on trusted people the storyteller named. We require confirmation from two of them, a waiting period, and a check with the storyteller first. We aren't responsible if trusted people report incorrectly, but we'll pause and correct any release we learn was a mistake.
- A "letter for later" is a personal message, not instructions with legal force.
7. Plans, gifts and payments
- Spark (free), Keeper and Heirloom are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Current prices are on our pricing. A launch price applies only while offered.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars; sales tax is added where required.
- Gifts: the buyer chooses the plan, a note and a start date. The storyteller owns the book once they accept it. Gift codes don't expire.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
8. Hosting, downloads and QR codes
- Keeper and Heirloom include 10 years of hosting from purchase. After that, or if a plan lapses, the book stays viewable and downloadable; only new recording pauses.
- You can download everything at any time, free.
- Each recording's QR code is meant to keep working for as long as Still Telling runs. If we ever shut down, we'll give at least 90 days' notice and a full download, and we'll keep the code pages pointing to where your family can find its copy for as long as we reasonably can.
9. Heirloom printed books
- Heirloom includes one printed color hardcover of up to 200 pages. Longer books can be split into a second volume or extended for an added price. Extra copies are sold separately.
- Nothing prints until the storyteller (or their helper) previews and approves every page. We print what you approve, so please check names and dates carefully. Once printing is approved, that order can't be refunded (see the Refund Policy).
- Colors and paper can vary slightly from your screen. Delivery times depend on our print partner and the shipping carrier.
10. Memory care mode
Memory care mode is a gentler way to ask and record. It isn't a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat or slow any condition.
11. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Still Telling running and your stories safe, but it's provided "as is" and may sometimes have errors or downtime. We may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something you paid for, we'll offer a fair alternative.
12. Ending use
You can stop using Still Telling and delete your book at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Even then, we'll give the storyteller a way to download their stories unless the law prevents it.
13. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, NaputiLabs isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content shared by users or released based on trusted people's reports. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
14. Disagreements and law
If something goes wrong, email us first at support@stilltelling.com. We'll try to make it right. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA.
15. Changes to these terms
We'll update the date above when these terms change, and tell account holders by email before any important change takes effect.
